No. Strong fundamentals in backend engineering, cloud architecture, or XML/validation are sufficient. We'll train you on Peppol BIS 3.0, PINT jurisdiction packs, AS4 AP4.0, SMP specifications, eDEC code lists, and Peppol Authority relationships. Prior exposure to EDI, UBL, ZUGFeRD, or ZATCA is a plus but not required.
Compliance engineers own Schematron rules, PINT customisations (Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Europe), national CIUS packs such as XRechnung, Tax Data Document (TDD) generation for Oman CTC, and the e-invoicing gates that protect transmission to the Peppol network. You'll also liaise with Peppol Authorities like OpenPeppol and national tax authorities such as the Oman Tax Authority (Fawtara) and ZATCA.

You'll write BIS-specification-grade PRDs and drive launches with engineering, compliance, and GTM.
