Ask Copilot whether a customer is on the Peppol network, validate an invoice before it goes out, draft it, send it when you say so, and see where every document you sent or received stands. It works against your own GoRoute account, within your role, and it never sends anything without your confirmation.

You, in Copilot
“Is 0208:0123456789 on the Peppol network, and what did we send them this quarter?”
GoRoute agent
Yes: registered for invoices and credit notes. Three invoices sent since 1 July, all delivered; the last one, INV-2026-0042, was delivered on 24 September. Want the PDF?
Twelve things, and nothing else. The agent is deliberately narrow: every capability below maps to one GoRoute tool, every answer is grounded in what that tool returned, and the two actions that change anything ask you first.
| You ask | The agent does | Asks first? |
|---|---|---|
| Is this company on Peppol? | Looks the identifier up on the network and says which documents it accepts | No, read only |
| Find my saved customer Acme | Searches the parties saved in your GoRoute account | No, read only |
| What did we send this month, and what failed? | Lists sent documents and counts them by status | No, read only |
| What is the status of INV-2026-0042? | Returns the transaction, its status history and a PDF link | No, read only |
| Show the purchase invoices we received this week | Lists received documents and opens one in full | No, read only |
| Validate this invoice | Runs GoRoute's validator for the buyer's country and reports what to fix | No, changes nothing |
| Draft an invoice to Acme for ... | Creates a draft in your account after collecting what is missing | Yes, before creating |
| Send that draft | Sends it over the Peppol network | Yes, every time |
Not included, on purpose: registering Peppol identities, deleting drafts, sending raw XML and GoRoute's general API. Those stay in the GoRoute dashboard until the agent has been through Microsoft's review with the narrow set.
Two steps, one for the administrator and one for each user. Nothing is installed on a computer; the agent runs inside Microsoft 365.
In the Microsoft 365 admin center, allow the GoRoute E-Invoicing agent for the users or groups who invoice. It carries Microsoft's Publisher Attestation, so it can be reviewed like any other listed agent.
Open the agent from the Agent Store, ask it something, and sign in to GoRoute when prompted. From then on it acts as you. Disconnect it from GoRoute, Settings, Connected apps, whenever you like.
Only the content of the tools you use: the identifiers, invoice data and status you ask about, sent to GoRoute over TLS. GoRoute never receives your Microsoft credentials; Microsoft never receives your GoRoute credentials. Tool results reach Microsoft's Copilot service so it can answer you, as with any Copilot agent. GoRoute's own handling is described on the trust page and in the privacy policy.
Create a GoRoute account now so the agent has something to connect to, or talk to us about rolling it out across a Microsoft 365 estate.
What administrators and finance teams ask before enabling the agent
To use the agent inside Microsoft 365 Copilot (Word, Outlook, Teams, Business Central), yes. In Copilot Chat the agent can be used where your tenant allows third-party agents. Your administrator decides which agents are available; the GoRoute agent is submitted with Microsoft's Publisher Attestation so it can be allowed like any other listed agent.
Your own. The first time you ask Copilot something that needs GoRoute, it opens GoRoute's sign-in page; you sign in and approve the connection. Copilot then acts as you, within the permissions of your GoRoute role, and nothing more. You can disconnect it from GoRoute at any time.
No. Sending is a confirmed action: Copilot shows you the draft and asks before it calls the send tool, every time. It never resends, never changes a VAT category or rate on its own, and never acts on data it has inferred rather than read.
Only what the tools you use need: the identifiers, invoice data and status you ask about. Those go to GoRoute over TLS and are processed under the ISO 27001-certified management system described on the trust page. GoRoute does not receive your Microsoft password and Microsoft does not receive your GoRoute password.
Yes. The GoRoute E-Invoicing app for Business Central posts invoices through the E-Document framework; the Copilot agent lets you ask about those same documents, look up buyers and validate data in conversation. They share one GoRoute account and one publisher, GoRoute.
The buyer's country decides: Peppol BIS 3.0 across Europe, PINT for Oman and Australia and New Zealand, EHF for Norway, ZUGFeRD and XRechnung for Germany, with tax-authority reporting where a country requires it. The agent reports what GoRoute's validator says and leaves the decision with you.
